C H A R A C T E R I N F O R M A T I O N
Name: Liam Dunbar
Canon: Teen Wolf
Original or Alternate Universe: Original
Canon Point: End of Season 4
Number: 009
Setting: Teen Wolf takes place in the fictional town of Beacon Hills, California— and while the timeline is a little sketchy in points, it definitely takes place in "the modern day". While supernatural creatures are a well kept secret in this world, it's also clear that there are groups of people who do know— and the bestiary of supernatural creatures known to the cast keeps growing— and the lore around the werewolves, especially, keeps evolving as well.
History: Liam Dunbar hasn't ever exactly been a normal kid. It's not like he was a born werewolf, or anything, though. No, he was just diagnosed with Intermittent Explosive Disorder when he trashed his lacrosse coach's car at his old school, and marked it rather memorably with the words: "This is your fault."
It's carrying this (poorly kept) secret that he arrives at Beacon Hills High, threatening Scott and Stiles' place on the lacrosse team through how amazingly good he is at lacrosse. He's better than Jackson, even, naturally— and this is before Scott has to bite him to save him from falling off a building.
It's with this that Liam really starts to struggle as a character— when you add supernatural abilities to an already unstable personality, things can get complicated. While they never get quite as complicated as they could (no Kanima for this guy)— most of his story becomes about self control, and learning to trust a guy whose first instinct after he bit him was to tie him up with duct tape and throw him in a bathtub. It takes a little longer for him to realize that it's really in his best interests to listen to Scott McCall— until he realizes that Scott genuinely wants to help him out in the way that only he can.
This is put to the test throughout Season 4, even as the metaplot unfolds. The first major breakthrough for them comes when they have to play Liam's old school— and Liam says here that he'd be less worried if Scott was there to protect them from the assassins that they thought were after Liam (even if they were after Brett, in the end.) Liam still gets angry— especially meeting Brett before the game, but we can already see that at least he's started to make some changes for the better. When he's captured by Garrett and thrown down a well (because he is on the dead pool list, after all), he realizes with absolute sureity that he can't do it alone— and almost dies from wolfsbaned poisoning in the process.
By the time Scott decides to bait the Benefactor to them, Liam's already embedded himself into the group. He mostly stays on the sidelines— until the cameras on the roof go out, and he runs to go to help, with Kira. He's almost killed by the berserkers, but he's still able to fight them off— and he has to save Kira in the process. He's also involved in Scott's dreams that he has during his "death"— although more as the physical manifestation of Scott's anxieties over his responsibily as an alpha. Even in these scenes (even if it's not really him) it's still clear that Liam already is an important part of Scott's pack, even if no one was really expecting it.
It's after Liam fights the berserkers that his arc starts coming to a head, even if it's slow at first. He starts seeing the berserkers occasionally during the daytime— and even if they aren't actually there, this is actually what starts to truly inspire his best friend's (Mason's) concern in him, and actually try to ask what's going on. At this point, Liam still sidesteps it with Mason, and unfortunately he doesn't end up being the one to reveal anything to Mason (although Mason starts to get some idea on his own.)
As the stakes of the dead pool rise, Liam is mostly kept out of harm's way by Scott (at least at first). Maybe it's because Scott wants to protect his beta or because he's not yet strong enough to protect people. It's clear by this point that the reason he isn't being more of a help isn't because he's selfish, but because of a lack of confidence. "How are you all still alive?" is his only question, before Scott takes him home and the dead pool, at least, is taken care of.
Liam still struggles though, and the real danger of this season is only revealed after the dead pool is dissolved. Liam's been haunted by the berserkers, even as it means that he pushes his friends and the rest of Scott's pack further away. He gets worse and worse, until Scott gets kidnapped, and Brett (his old teammate) tells him that he's lucky to have an alpha as good as Scott at their lacrosse game. This inspires him to head to Mexico with the rest of the group when they actually realize what had happened. He even manages to find some control— through the three things that cannot be hidden, the sun, the moon, and the truth. In what's perhaps his most important development, he's the one who manages to tell Scott that he isn't a monster, but a werewolf— and thus is the one to really be responsible for bringing Scott back from being a berserker and to full control.
At the end of the season, Liam is obviously accepted, and it's implied that he, Stiles, and Scott are going to be together a lot more moving forward, at least for the sake of lacrosse.
Personality: Initially, Liam seems like a cocky freshman who's in too deep for who he is. This isn't entirely an incorrect assessment— Liam is cocky in a lot of ways, but mostly in the context of lacrosse. He's incredibly confident in this tiny vertical for a reason— he's a great player and he has great reflexes, and he loves playing more than absolutely anything.
Besides the cockiness, the other overwhelming trait Liam has on first glance is rage. Liam is angry— and it's never really explained just what makes him angry. The IED that he was diagnosed with after trashing his coach's car is a constant struggle for Liam— and it's very clear that he wants to take care of it and he just doesn't know how to best go about that. He clearly feels bad that it makes things hard for his parents (and there's clearly at least a little bit of family strife in his past, since the man he calls "dad" is his stepdad), but he doesn't know how to fix it at all. He doesn't take his medication (risperidone), but not because he doesn't want to feel better. He doesn't take it because it makes him too tired to play lacrosse, which he enjoys too much to give up. Even if it means that he's essentially a ticking timebomb, even before he's turned into a werewolf. After he turns into a werewolf, things get worse for his anger, at least at first. Even if that anger could be a source of strength, that only counts once he has control over it. And it takes almost all of Season 4 before Liam gains any control at all.
He's also an incredibly poor liar— which makes things kind of hard for him as a new werewolf. He seems to be reluctant to really lean on anyone else, but the way that he lies is often so comedically bad that he doesn't really succeed in pushing people away like he wants to. He's definitely a bit easily scared— he hasn't quite been a werewolf long enough or involved in the supernatural long enough that everything doesn't just feel insanely overwhelming. This is fairly understandable. He's basically a fish out of water in this world— overwhelmed by the reality that he could easily die. And it wasn't like he ever asked for this.
But even with all of this, Liam is incredibly loyal in his own way. When he meets the team captain of his old team, he at least tries to give him a handshake in some slightly misplaced attempt at maturity. He's incredibly loyal to Scott and he's always the type to worry about his friends, and if they're truly in danger, he'll go running to try and protect them. He's also kind of a fussy, neurotic worrier— most evident in how unsure he felt about the plan for Scott to temporarily die to bait the Benefactor to come see them. He's basically a fish out of water in a group of people who've already become desensitized to the supernatural— and in some ways Liam is lucky, because he doesn't know how badly it's gone for some who have come before him.
Going forward on the Tranquility, Liam's biggest initial will be no longer having Scott to lean on. He was just starting to be more willing to depend on Scott, and since he isn't currently in the game, that will probably be his biggest challenge— not closing off completely to other people. He's pretty vulnerable psychologically— as evidenced by how plagued he was by the berserkers in Season 4. Since most of his development over the season involved him learning how to trust people— which I illustrated more above in the history section, that's going to be what he's mostly going to have to relearn in Ataraxion. He technically has the equipment to control his anger, but having the motivation to keep that up initially, at least, will be a major challenge for him.
Abilities, Weaknesses and Power Limitations:
Abilities Standard werewolf powers in the Teen Wolf universe— heightened senses, accelerated healing, enhanced agility, and enhanced strength. He's also an incredibly good lacrosse player even as a normal human. He could probably learn how to transfer pain or memories, but those aren't things that he really knows about— and he can still barely control his powers.
Weaknesses: Wolfsbane is probably the most major one— although also not terribly relevant. Like any other werewolf in the universe, this can make Liam sick or, if it's strong enough, kill him. Besides that, he can also of course be trapped by mountain ash, and the lunar eclipse would render him powerless. Electricity— probably more common in Ataraxion— could keep him weak and human if it was continuously applied. Most importantly, Liam is still a very new werewolf, and has only shown the ability to control his transformation at all very recently. It probably wouldn't be hard to throw him out of that. Werewolves also don't metabolize alcohol like humans— which means it's actually unknown whether his antipsychotic would work on him as a werewolf, either. For the sake of this game, I'm going to be assuming that they won't be working at full strength for him as a werewolf— but he won't be aware of that, so they still might have some placebo effect.
Limitations: I'm not sure how best to limit his powers— except to say that even if he went into full werewolf and rage mode (which combined has allowed Liam to do some pretty bad things in terms of property damage), he still wouldn't be able to somehow escape the ship. I imagine that the ship is probably strong enough to withstand quite a lot of damage though.
Inventory:
Two months worth of his antipsychotic
His lacrosse jersey
A lacrosse ball
Appearance:

Liam is 15 and he looks like it. He's actually tiny— he stands at around 5'5''. He's pretty athletic— and looks it too, although we don't see much of his bare arms in the series. When he turns into a wolf, he grows a bit of unfortunate facial hair and his eyes are, of course, the standard werewolf yellow in that form. He likes to dress like a typical teenaged jock.
Age: 15
AU Clarification: I am reapping him to Planetfall with no memories of his time on the Tranquility.
S A M P L E S
Log Sample: Liam sunk down in a corner of one of the jungle levels of the oxygen garden. He'd come here because being up here helped him relax, even if it was nothing like the forests in California. Today it wasn't enough to just come up here, though. He was starting to feel worse— so he'd brought something else with him.
He couldn't help but snort as he shook out the pills onto his hand. They were such tiny little pills when he actually looked at them. If he so much as had an angry thought, he'd probably crush them to powder.
He didn't get why this was what he'd ended up with— two months worth of pills that he'd stopped taking months before he'd ended up on the Tranquility. Even thought it had been days already, he was still half convinced that he'd wake up and he'd be back in Beacon Hills. That was probably too much to hope for at this point, but that was part of the reason he had these pills with him in the first place.
He'd tried the words already today— "the sun, the moon, and the truth." It was impossible to tell when the moon was going to be full here, but he could feel his thoughts race in that way that used to only precede him breaking something but now also sometimes preceded him growing fangs or claws. They had been enough, that one time, but he'd wanted to protect Scott, then. He'd had people to protect, then.
He didn't know if anyone from Beacon Hills was here, not really. He hadn't really bothered to look through the directory on that weird phone he got, or anything. He was still half-convinced that this was all just a dream and he was going to wake up tomorrow. But he knew that Scott wasn't here. He'd be able to tell that no matter what— and without Scott around, without his alpha around, it was getting harder and harder to keep his mind clear.
Maybe taking something that made him tired wouldn't be too bad right now. It wasn't like he could even play lacrosse if he wanted to. And if taking some of these could help him keep this under control, maybe that wouldn't be too bad.
Comms Sample: [As crazy as his first few days here have been, it takes a little longer for Liam to actually use the network. It's not that he's afraid of technology— far from it. But you can never be entirely sure who you're going to reach like this.]
Hey— [And then, of course, his voice has to crack, so he takes another moment to get his voice down to the proper octave.]
Hey. [Better.] So— I'm wondering if there's a way to make sure someone else shows up? Like, how do they decide who gets put here, anyways. I'm pretty sure this guy I'm looking for would do way better at this than I would.
[That was the understatement of the year.]
So yeah. I don't really know how long it'll be before someone else can show up— but if it could be like tomorrow that would be good.
Thanks.

Character Name: Daiki Aomine
Canon: Kuroko no Basket
Canon Point: Chapter 203 (immediately post Kaijou vs. Seirin)
Background/History: Link to his page on the KnB wiki!
Personality: Daiki Aomine is the ace of the Generation of Miracles— he was the first member of this amazing group of Teikou students to really bloom and come into his own. As a result, his skill level also increases incredibly fast, until he comes to the point where he believes that no one could possibly defeat him. This results in an incredible amount of arrogance in his personality, mostly involving basketball. But then again, basketball is pretty much his entire life, so there isn't much for him to be full of himself about otherwise. This belief is only enforced through his entire Teikou career— after all, they were the undefeated champions through junior high. But it wasn't just that they were undefeated that affected Aomine so much. Aomine actually starts off as optimistic and idealistic as anyone else— he was one of the people who convinced Kuroko not to quit basketball when he only made third string by saying that Kuroko's love of basketball was motivational to him, even if Kuroko wasn't actually that good of a player. However, he started improving rapidly, and his idealistic attitude begins to transform. This is enforced especially by two events. The first is when one of his first year rivals, tells him that they wouldn't even try to win against him (even when Aomine tries his best against him), which forces him to realize that at this point, he's unbeatable. The second, even bigger event, comes when the new coach, under pressure from Teikou's board to keep Aomine playing in games no matter what, tells him that he can skip practice if that means he'll stay on the team. Aomine had already been struggling with practice because he didn't feel any challenge from it, but being told that he didn't have to go anymore basically crushed him. It crushed him so much that he tells Kuroko, when he comes to tell him to return to practice, that he envies Kuroko's badness at basketball, because it means he doesn't have to know the pain of always being successful. He really was that self-centered as an individual, but this self-centered quality is really what gets turned around in the rest of the series (even though we see this low point after most of his development).
This only continues into his first year as a starter at Touou Academy. He first manages to beat Seirin, the home of his old "shadow", Tetsuya Kuroko (who was also once his best friend and the person he was "most compatible with in basketball") who he believes can't realize his full potential while working with Kagami, Seirin's ace, since his "light is too dim". And Touou does defeat Seirin, seemingly proving that point. They then go on to defeat Kaijou as well, against another former teammate who Aomine helped to realize the potential of, Ryota Kise, one of the few people that Aomine felt might have been a challenge. But at that point, he still felt that Kise wasn't much of a match for him in the end, and Kaijou went defeated. And Aomine didn't even play in their final match, and thus, Touou lost to Rakuzan in the final round. This makes him incredibly jaded, especially during the inter-high, because even when there seems like there may be the barest of hints that he might be able to find an opponent who can oppose him (such as his response to Kagami toward the beginning of their Interhigh match, which is that he "might not be so bad", which is enough to give him some heart for the duration of that match, although his inability to be defeated was eventually proven again.)
However, that wasn't enough to sway his confidence. It's only in the Winter Cup that Touou isn't so lucky, and Seirin is finally able to defeat Touou, taking Aomine out of the running and helping him to realize that there is someone out there who can defeat him. That ennui that he felt before, during his first match against Seirin and his match against Kaijou, dissipated, after thinking for so long that he wouldn't be able to find a willing opponent, again. He ends up helping Kuroko learning to shoot, and coming more to Kise, and Seirin's aid, and seems to be a little bit more mature in the current timeline (although not by much).
Aomine is, in simple terms, just kind of a tool. He's incredibly self-confident-- his catch phrase, the phrase he's most associated with in series is "the only one who could defeat me is me." This comes from his string of wins as mentioned in his history, but it's a kind of confidence that extends everywhere. He's generally lazy-- he skips practice all the time, especially once he enters high school and figures that he doesn't really have to work very hard in order to score lots of points and win games, and isn't that all that matters to him? He revels in humiliating his opponents, to a certain extent (it's just all over his irregular playstyle, and the way that he can make people think that they're going to make a shot and then completely block it). And he has a short temper, too, threatening violence to people on multiple occasions, and actually punching someone in the face at some point (even though it was really for the right reason).
But even with all of this dangerous cockiness, there is still some of that idealism that he had in his first year at Teikou, before he felt like there wasn't any challenge in any of it. He still, somewhere, wants to find that equal match-- that's what he yearns for, even as he sneered up until he was defeated in the Winter Cup, even if he'd mostly given up. And even when he was at his cockiest, he still showed some consideration toward Momoi and Kuroko, in his own gruff way (or in some cases violent, as was shown when one of his team mates questioned Kuroko's ability after a match and he shoved him into a locker). His softness shows toward some other people, too-- especially later, like when he gives Kagami a pair of shoes after Kagami doesn't even win the one-on-one he'd said he'd play them. He's also very physical-- he uses it almost as a form of intimidation, whether what he wants is an octopus sausage from his teammate or just to intimidate the crap out of an opponent. He's very aware of his presence on the court, and he's very aware of his abilities, and it's that insane confidence that probably allows him to have so many wins, even as it makes him more than a little unpopular.
Abilities/Powers: Aomine is essentially a normal person, although he has higher physical abilities than normal. The character bible gives him 10s in physical ability, technique, and special ability (which is a perfect score). He also has 8s in stamina and mental strength! Mostly what we can get out of this is that he doesn't really think about what he does— and he can't keep it up perfectly, but he is pretty damn good at everything anyways. He isn't the final boss of the series, or anything, but he's a terrifying, nearly insurmountable obstacle for multiple characters in the series. He's mostly known as a speed demon, and also as being really good at more improvisational basketball. He can also enter The Zone, which is the state of heightened awareness and skill, where basically they can focus 100% on the game and not on anything else going on. Everyone has a trigger for this, and for Aomine his trigger is when he finds a worthy opponent.
Items/Weapons: A gravure magazine (which is basically like a Sports Illustrated swimsuit special, lots of pictures of women who are mostly undressed but not naked), an (empty) bento box, and an old Pocari Sweat bottle (but at least it has a screw top).
Sample Entry: Haven test drive thread
Sample Entry Two: Daiki woke up disoriented. He hadn't remembered falling asleep after watching the quarter finals— after watching Kaijou lose to Seirin. That match hadn't even been boring, although what he'd really been interested in was the final match with Rakuzan. But now— well, this definitely wasn't his bed in his parents' house. For one thing, his room at home didn't have six beds in it. And for another, his mattress at home wasn't this hard.
But it took him waking up a little more to fully register what was wrong with this situation. The sharp pain in his back turned out to be a cellphone— but it wasn't his cell, which made it all the more strange. He was about to go digging around under the bed to figure out if this phone was a prank or a dud (his real phone just had to be hidden, he'd never be stupid enough to lose it), when he saw the window out of a corner of his eye—
He'd think this was a dream, except that stupid phone being a pain in his back would have woken him up from it for sure. And although that sign (that weird, creepy sign, and Daiki didn't just find anything creepy) said that he was safe, he knew it wasn't true. It was way too quiet for that.

Name/Work Name: Kagami Taiga/Kumo
Canon: Kuroko no Basket
Canon Point: 203Q (directly after defeating Kaijou, but before hearing the Teikou story)
AU/CRAU: Nope, straight from canon here!
Age: 16
History: Here!
Personality: What probably had the greatest impact on Kagami in his young life was meeting Himuro Tatsuya and Alex Garcia-- his brother figure and mentor, respectively-- at a time in his life when he was just struggling to make a friend. It was through both of them that he learned to love basketball so much, and for a while, the three of them existed as a sort of 'basketball family', even though it wasn't like Kagami was orphaned or anything of that sort. Eventually, though, it went a little sour, although Kagami always held onto it, and eventually Himuro left for Japan and Kagami thought he'd never see him again.
However, that isn't really the main thrust of Kagami's story. The main thrust of Kagami's story begins when he enters Seirin High, as the overenthusiastic monster rookie of a power forward, who fast becomes a starting player and, with Kuroko, the key to Seirin's winning strategy for much of the manga. He starts out wanting to just beat the Generation of Miracles (something that Kuroko promises to him, even though Kagami is a little skeptical and just thinks he's pathetic, at first), but along the way it becomes less about pure rivalry and more about trying to help Kuroko on his own quest to defeat his former teammates, and learns to appreciate his own team and maybe even resolve some of the leftover tension between him and Himuro along the way (even if it got slightly sidelined).
But who is Kagami Taiga? As I've already said, he's a power forward, Seirin's "ace", and he has the fiery, domineering personality to match it, at least at first. He's huge and intimidating, and he's great at basketball, as long as he isn't overworking himself into an injury. He's often described as having a potential so vast that it can't actually be visualized, and much of Kagami's problems in the series stems from the fact that he doesn't know how to harness it, and his coach and teammates don't have a very good idea of how to help him harness it, either. A lot of the series is also spent on Kagami trying to prove himself, through sweat and (literally, at some points) blood, to the Generation of Miracles, that he's worthy as a challenger to them. And for the most part, so far, that's worked. He has a sort of desperate drive forward, despite his prodigal amount of skill, which is usually presented as a contrast to the rest of the Generation of Miracles. He's incredibly earnest, and this comes across in more than how he plays basketball.
But despite his intensity, Kagami is still essentially a bit of a dork. He's deathly afraid of dogs due to an incident back in America, and he's also scared of ghosts. He's also not all that smart, schoolwise, and he tries to make metaphors to get his team psyched up but his team just finds them more amusing than inspiring. He's well-meaning but he's stubborn, and he clashes with nearly everyone he meets and he's not very good at learning when to stand down. But he is absolutely a memorable person, and his presentation does, eventually, get more people to believe in him, even those members of the Generation of Miracles who all thought he was a joke, at first.
Debt: I think what would drive him to work here would actually be to resolve his relationship with Himuro, moreso than to win against Rakuzan in the finals. Because he trusts his team enough and their work that they can win (which is a development! or at least I think he'd trust his team less earlier on), but now he just wants to fix his own stuff. If that's not enough, then maybe something about the ability to carry through on Midorima making him promise to help Akashi before the match.
Suitability: I think he's willing to work for it because he's really determined to make this work. Kagami has never been one to shy away from working hard— he trains incredibly hard all by himself just for the Winter Cup in order to not let down his team. So he'd be willing to do it— even though he'd probably have a little trouble with the whole set-up for a little while just because he isn't really a service oriented guy, and tends to be blunt and rude.
Previous Game Info: Not applicable!
Inventory: Kagami wouldn't have much on him— just his school uniform, the ring that Himuro gave him when he was a kid, and his cellphone. He'd probably only really care about getting the ring back, though, and maybe some of his casual clothes.
Abilities, Strengths, and Weaknesses: Kagami has two major talents: his basketball and his stomach. His basketball is most distinguished by his ability to jump— and his cultivated "animal instinct", which enables him to play mostly on intuition alone. He also really is known for his insatiable appetite— but at least he can feed himself, since he had to learn how to cook while he was living by himself. His strengths as a person are mostly that he's dependable and driven to work hard— he isn't even all that aware of his genius, but he does take his natural abilities for granted, to the point where he works too hard, sometimes. He can also be very stubborn in his first impressions of people— even if he can come around sometimes.
And he hates dogs, although at least he has a good reason for that.

IC INFORMATION
Characters Name: Misaki Yata
Age: 19
Canon: K Project
Canon Point: Episode 9, as HOMRA is about to invade the school island.
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Orientation: In terms of spouse he can go either way— he's pretty embarrassed around girls and he'd be sort of pissed with a guy but either way he's losing out so.
History: His embarrassingly detailed wiki page.
Appearance: What a babe ugh.
Personality: Yata is a firecracker— arguably quite literally. He's a member of HOMRA, the Red Clan in K Project's Japan, and one of its leaders, despite only being 19 years old. HOMRA defines Yata, or he wants to be defined by it, and he greatly values his membership in the gang, and the gang's overall reputation. He swears by it, it's the greatest thing in the world to him, and he isn't afraid to remind anyone that he thinks so.
But even if he is a leader, he's still incredibly brash and loud. His fighting style is a lot like him, loose and in your face, and it doesn't take much for him for him to start off. Especially if you mention his height— or Saruhiko Fushimi, the once-member of HOMRA (who defected to Sceptre-4, a rival group). So he isn't exactly the most mature of commanders. In fact he has a pretty big ego, and can come off incredibly cocky. But it's more than just cockiness, it's pride that drives him and keeps him going. But it's well-meaning, and even if he tends to pick a lot of fights, he's mostly a loud barker, without much bite at the end of the day. But he's fairly aware of this, and he does try to intimidate new members of HOMRA on several occasions. But it's not entirely effective, given that he's small, and also that several members of his gang have been known to pick him up and throw him over their shoulder when he gets too loud. And his show-offy tendencies extend beyond his fighting style and into his recreational skateboarding, as well.
And even though he pretends to be smooth (sometimes, anyways), he gets incredibly embarrassed when he talks to women, and becomes something of a blushing, blustering mess. It's mostly played for comedy, but it does show something of a soft side, as does his behavior toward the members of HOMRA. He is incredibly deferential toward Suoh, the clan's King, and in many ways it's his faithfulness to his clansmen that drives his rebelliousness, such as being one of the first after Yashiro at the beginning of the show when he thinks that Yashiro is responsible for Totsuka's murder.
His relationships are mostly straightforward, with the exception of one. He looks up to Mikoto Suoh as a hero, the leader of his gang and probably the most important person in his life. He was even willing to beat up one of his fellow gang members for suggesting that he might have defected to Sceptre-4 when he was captured toward the beginning of the series. Even if he outwardly resents Kusanagi, their second in command, at least for his tendency to call him Yata-chan, he still listens to his orders. He openly said he thought Tatara Totsuka was pretty weird, but he couldn't help but be attracted to his attitude, like the rest of HOMRA.
But his relationship with Saruhiko Fushimi probably tells us the most about his character. They were friends before they even joined HOMRA, and joined together. So it would be logical to an extent, that Yata would react with so much anger when Fushimi left, when Fushimi burned his HOMRA mark right in front of him. His betrayal of HOMRA was a huge insult to Yata, and even if he said it was a disrespect to Suoh, he was probably upset that he felt that his friend was leaving them and saying what HOMRA did was useless and silly. His fights with Fushimi once the series begins prove to be incredibly hard to break up, since Yata wants him to suffer for that decision, and maybe, somewhere, he wants Fushimi to suddenly decide to rejoin HOMRA, too.
Abilites: Yata has the red aura, like the rest of the Red Clan, which is fire based. Notably, he can actually generate his aura from his skateboard. He's also a capable hand-to-hand combatant.
Other: He's only 167 cm ... and he refers to himself as Yatagarasu (and occasionally other people in HOMRA do), the three legged crow in Japanese myth.
SAMPLES
First Person: H- hey! What's the big idea here?
[ the kid (or, well, someone who looks like a kid) on screen does not look happy to be here, not at all. ]
Who the hell thought this kinda thing would be funny?
[ he holds up his lease agreement. that says he's to be a parent. ]
You really think some piece of paper's gonna hold Yatagarasu down, huh? Well think again. I don't have the time to be a family man. Hell, even if I had more time, I wouldn't wanna. Do I look like I'd be a good dad to you?!
... Tch, don't answer that. But if someone doesn't tell me how to get out of here, someone's gonna suffer for it. Alright?!
[ he does his very best to look threatening as he turns off the feed. ]
Third Person:
When Yata woke up, it was snowing.
It wasn't even snowing very hard, but hadn't it been clear? They were heading to the school island, HOMRA was going to get revenge for Tatara. It all would have been so simple if he had just been able to finish that chant but— no.
That wasn't where they were anymore. Where the fuck was he, anyways? Why'd he wake up on a lawn chair with snow in his hair? In a non-descript place that looked nothing like any place in his city? It was too still here, too sterile.
And more than that, it was cold. Really cold. And he couldn't get warm again.
He wasn't even usually the type to use his aura like that, but he couldn't use it at all. Why the hell would that be? He still had his king— as far as he knew. He was still a member of HOMRA, first and foremost, and there was no way that he'd just lost the thing that made him a Red Clansman. It wasn't fucking possible, even changing teams hadn't made people lose their auras.
His eyes shifted toward the door of the house. There was an envelope there, and it looked like it had his name on it. He didn't trust anything that looked like government paperwork, honestly. And the envelope looked thick, too. Way too much bullshit that he didn't want to deal with.
But his thought was interrupted by a shiver down his spine. At least that envelope had to have a key so that he could get into that drab house that looked like every house on the block. He hated this place already, hated the sameness, hated the silence. But he hated the cold more, and right now, his only choice was to be a little co-operative.

Myth
The Great Kingdom of Japan has always been divided into smaller kingdoms, and these kingdoms have never really had peace. However, around 50 years prior to the main story this myth covers, it was decided that all future conflicts would be resolved through a sport. A sport that would eventually come to be called basketball.
Taiga Kagami is an outsider to the concept of winning wars with the game, but he's no stranger to playing it. He grew up playing it with his sister, Alex, and his brother Tatsuya, when he lived in America. But he heard rumors, both of the strange way Japan chose to resolve its conflicts, and a particular group of young people, known as the Generation of Miracles, who were all moved from their home town when they came of age to add their prowess to the various towns of the land.
Each town has a team. These teams then assemble in tournaments to decide who ranks the highest in all of Japan and depending on their ranking, their standing in the country overall changes. The idea behind this was to keep everyone focused on their teams and try to support their glory. And the team members could gain glory this way and it felt like there was a cause! Even if it was sort of a silly cause, and honestly the whole thing feels a little dystopian.
But Taiga returns to Japan, picking a random town to pledge his power to. As it turns out, this town is newly established in this tournament play, and it's only through a member of the Generation of Miracles, choosing to play for the same minor team, that he is able to succeed at all.
For a while, these two young men's teamwork was enough, but the matches began to take their toll, and the first time Seirin loses (against Touou, to a man named Daiki Aomine, who was the first one to accuse Kagami of not being enough of a hero, of not being able to work well enough with Kuroko), something in Kagami's brain just snaps. It's only with a great deal of effort from the rest of their team that they're able to bring him back to relative normalcy, and for a while, everything seems well.
But when they enter the Winter Tournament (beating Touou, first things first), the stress of the matches begins to be too much, and after three more (beating Kirisaki Daiichi and Yosen, but then losing to Kaijou), it proves to be too much, and the strange berserk quality that had entered Kagami killed him. It was really Yosen that created the most trouble for him— having to go up against his brother, Tatsuya, who had said that no matter what, they would no longer be brothers after the match. That is what killed his focus, what really allowed the insanity to seep in, what destroyed Taiga Kagami.
And it's such a shame, because he really could have been a hero.

Characters Name: Natsuki Usami
Age: 17
Canon: Tsuritama
Canon Point: Episode 8
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Orientation: Unstated, but I'd be fine with him being with either?
History: here
Appearance: here
Personality: When Natsuki is first introduced in Tsuritama as one of Yuki's classmates, he seems stand-offish and reticent. This isn't entirely an inaccurate evaluation of his personality — he isn't the kind of guy who opens up to others easily. So to most people, he simply seems like a slightly proud, but otherwise reserved kid. He doesn't really like anyone to know much about him, either. But even so, he's still a polite sort of guy; the sort who will give up his train seat for an older man without being asked. So even if he's a bit stand-offish to people his own age, he's still a hard worker and fairly well liked in Enoshima.
Because really what makes him so proud is his title as "the fishing prince". He's one of the best young fishermen in Enoshima; one of the best in Japan, really. But even if he comes off a little impatient at first, he actually really does know how to teach fishing, and as he teaches Haru and Yuki more about it, he begins to warm up to them as he learns that they are actually serious about the hobby, and not just treating it as a joke or as something "easy". As proud as Natsuki is of being a good fisherman, though, he hates for people at school to know about it, because he doesn't like being associated with the sport on that level— and he wants to separate the fishing part and just being a normal school boy. But he's still incredibly passionate about fishing, and you can see it in the change in his expressions when he talks about the sport.
We see the most depth out of him when he's with his father and sister. Natsuki has a lot of problems with his father— partially because he doesn't want his father to change his shop business to something more cafe-like and less Enoshima like, and also, more importantly, because he thinks his father has forgotten their dead mother to be with another woman. His little sister, Sakura, also has this issue, but Natsuki doesn't really see that she's suffering either. As much as he loves Sakura, and softens significantly in her presence, he still acts out to her when his dad is involved.
The most important part of his relationship with Yuki to his personality is that Yuki doesn't understand the full depth of his family situation, and thus when Natsuki is being especially stubborn, Yuki calls Natsuki out on his stubbornness, and helps him realize that he isn't the only one hurting over it, and that he should treat his father and sister better than he had. This is the point that he's coming from at his episode eight canon point, when he's started to accept his father's new life a bit more, and starts being a better member of the family over all.
Abilites: He's a skilled fisher, but that's it!
Other: I'm taking him from right before he gets his haircut in episode 8, so he doesn't actually know what Haru really is yet.

You can't see the ocean here at all.
Is there at least a lake here? I don't want to fall out of practice. Although if anyone knew a way out, that would be ideal. Lakes make for poor substitutes.
Third Person:
When Natsuki first woke up, he thought he must have fallen asleep on the pier. Except when his eyes regained focus, he realized that wherever he had woken up was far too ... landlocked. Not to mention that he didn't remember ever laying back in a lawn chair.
He stood up. This wasn't Enoshima, that much was obvious. It looked like something off an American show, not that he paid much attention to most of those. It was very ... clean. Everything seemed perfectly manicured, like there wasn't a single hair out of place. It wasn't that Natsuki couldn't appreciate organization or attention to detail, but this just seemed like it was too much. There wasn't even anyone out on the streets.
Mostly though, it was the lack of water that was starting to bother him. It wasn't like he was adjusting from city life or anything like that, so he couldn't complain that this place seemed like it would be slow. But he needed to be able to fish. He couldn't just give that up because he was somewhere else. They had promised to fish together, after all. Even if he couldn't see Yuki, or Akira, or Haru here.
Although this could be one of Haru's strange pranks with his water gun, couldn't it? He sighed inwardly. This seemed like a little too much even for Haru, but it was the only lead he had. So he might as well try to follow it. He scanned the scene again, before he realized there was a note on the door. Something addressed to him. It didn't look like Haru's writing (and he was pretty sure Haru wouldn't bother with things like envelopes), but maybe it could be an answer of another sort.

Canon Point: Red Route, post Itsukushima
Gender & Sex: Male, both physically and mentally
Age: Never stated, but appears to be around 20.
Birthdate/Sign: November 11, Scorpio.
Mitsunari fits both the positives and negatives of the Scorpio sign— or at least, what would be positive traits if they weren't so tempered by the driving force of his bad ones. He approaches every task he's faced with a great amount of intensity, even if it's just something like getting on a zipline. He's also certainly an emotional and passionate guy, even if it's directed to possibly negative places. Even if he isn't controlled like Scorpios are usually described, he still fits the overall profile of a Scorpio besides that, especially in the negatives. He's incredibly obsessive, over both Ieyasu and Hideyoshi. And when he is obsessive enough over someone in a negative way (like Ieyasu), it isn't hard to interpret his actions as somewhat sadistic, either. And he's obstinate, certainly, to a self-endangering extent.
Tattoo: Three inches on the inside of his left thigh
Suitability: Not applicable.
Power: Mitsunari has a flash-step move, which allows for really short range teleportation. This will be his starting power, although upon entry it will be basically useless.
Although his moveset is based on the "shadow element", the source of his elemental attacks are the weapons themselves, and not so much anything that he has himself. His high speed, which is probably the most unique part of his fight style, will also be reduced (although still a little higher than a normal person).
